I am surprised to find out that I can not buy the Voucher Online and should call a number in US.
Is there is anything I should keep in mind for deciding the test center? There are few centers not very far from my home.

You need to call a number in the US only if you are planning to take the test in the US or Canada.
For other countries, you can get the information on buying a voucher from local Sun educational services office
You can get the list of test centers from the Prometric site
