Dear Friends,
I've read somewhere that garbage collection algorithm is platform dependent. Is this true statement?
In my opinion, in Java, only thread scheduling algorithms are platform dependent. I'm a bit confused on this statement.
Would you like to help me?
Best regards,

As you said, threads scheduling are plattform dependant, and the garbage collector is a Daemon thread, so it's platform dependant! IMHO

By constantly trying one ends up succeeding. Thus: the more one fails the more one has a chance to succeed.

Both Garbage Collection and Thread are platform dependent. That's what I read at many places.
