Hi ,
I got CD of 'Complete Java TM2 certification Study Guide' by Simon Roberts.
I do not know how to run the tester of this CD. I tried to run
c:>\java Test
which gives error:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Test (wrong name: test)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass0(Native Method)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(ClassLoader.java:488)

I set the classpath and Path with the directory where the test classes stored.
please give the details if you have any.
thanks ,
Satheesh.

bskumar,
Welcome to Javaranch
We'd like you to read the Javaranch Naming Policy and change your publicly displayed name to comply with our unique rule. Thank you.
If you have acquired the second edition of the book, please read page 846 for information about how to launch the test application.
Simply go to the /tests directory of the CDROM and type the following command:
>java -jar Chapter01.jar
in order to launch Chapter 1's test...

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
