I took the SCPJ2 test on Feb 2000 (and got 98%) but by now I have forgotten if the answers that require typing the content of a String in a text box should or should not include the quote signs (" ).
By now I hope this issue has been discussed to death here ( ) so, what is the answer? A friend needs to know.
Thanks!

Hi Tony,
I think there is no need to include the quotes if only the string literal is asked, but I may be wrong.
Has anyone else encountered such a question and was required to include the quotes?

I remember that the exam stated clearly how you had to write the answers. No problem with that.
I think the quotes weren't required.

Thanks Valentín. It's coming back to me now...
And José, maybe (I hope!) today's exam is more explicit in the instructions than when I took it (Feb 2000).
Thanks for the replies.
