Hi,
I have a SCJP voucher which was purchased 4 months back.
I haven't booked my seat so far.
I am confused about whether i should go for 1.2 or new 1.4 exam.
Sometimes i feel that there is ample of material available for 1.2 so i should go for older version.
Sometimes i feel that i should go for new one.
Confused!!!

If u have got some Java programming experience then do go for 1.4. Also u will not need to look into AWT and IO. Further u will end up learning new stuff related to 1.4 which is a bonus.
Please check this item out
SCJP 1.4 (Ivette)
It contains more info on 1.4 test and a link to Ivette's notes on the same.
