can anybody guide me to the website where I can get some info like number of question, time alotted for SCJP2 for 1.4 exam and other necessary stuff etc ?

Check out Sun's certification site it has all the information for SCPJ 1.4, 1.2 and all the other exams too.
Also, don't forget to check out the JavaRanch SCPJ FAQ. It might be able to answer some of your other questions.
