Hi,
Is there an ID wallet card for SCJP 1.2 or its only for SCJP 1.4? I did not receive an ID card when I passed the 1.2 exam. Will I get it when I take the upgrade exam?

Never heard of an ID card, but you should get a nice lapel badge like this

What will the package contain?? I took the exam only a week ago, wondering what will I get? I tried to find out on the net but didn't find info on that :-)

My 1.4 package contained a lapel pin (a lil different than the one posted above), a certificate, and a letter that I sent back so I could receive the electronic copy of the logo to plop on my resume. I live in the US and received my packet about two after the exam.
I've read from previous posts that the wait time can be considerably longer if you're outside the US.

No CDs, no bonus packs hehe just kidding... Well I heard, it should be about 3 weeks in my case - from the center I took the exam at - but we'll see...

The lovely lapel pin has been changed from the one Marcus posted. It now uses the more gaudy (did I say that?) colors that Sun is using on their site and ads now (the bolder primary colors). But it's got all the important things! (Difficult to accessorize with, though. It just doesn't go with a THING in my closet
You get a certificate with McNealy's signature on it, which I think is cool.
Mostly though, you just get the ego-building pride that comes with the ability to walk down the street and say to yourself (or out loud), "I'm way smarter than YOU".
Wickedly smart.
cheers,
Kathy

"I'm way smarter than YOU".

Don't try that in an interview, only in the back street in the middle of the night

I'm asking this because in the Sun certification site regarding the recertification process. It says that the expiration date of the certification is in the "ID card".
But since you 1.4 guys don't have the ID card yet then I don't have anything to be concerned about missing something.
thanks,
Filipino
