The book entitled "Mike Meyers' Java 2 Certification Passport Exam 310-025" was written by Cindy Glass, Kathy Sierra, Margarita Isaveya, Jane Griscti, Ajith Kallambella.
If you have read this book, could you please provide me with some feedback?
Is this a book that you would recommend?
The reviews were not great on Amazon, but I don't always believe what's written in these reviews.
Would this book help in studying for the SCJP, or would your new book be enough(aside from mock exams etc)?
Thanks for your time,
Angelo.

Check out the review in the Bunkhouse. It received 7 of 10 stars.
I haven't read it myself, so can't recommend it personally. I used Mughal/Rasmussen book for my certification. Currently I'm reviewing Kathy's new book, and love it so far. Look for that review in the next couple weeks.

Angelo and Jessica -
We just received an update from the publisher today, the book is being distributed as we speak (or type), and depending on the bookstore, should be 'on the shelves' in 3 - 10 days!

Jessica, thanks for the link's and the info.
Bert, I am looking forward to this book. Since I live in Canada, I can always add a couple of weeks to the timelines .
Ah well, patience is a virtue.

Angelo.

All I would say to everybody is that don't think of taking the EXAM without reading Kathy's new book. Its well written, extensive and with sufficient examples. It also helps you in identifying the common pitfalls.
So go ahead and buy the book. Its worth reading.

Hi Arijit.
Just curious. Have you already had the opportunity of reading Kathy's new book?
If so, how did you get your hands on a copy so soon? I'm jealous
Regards,
Angelo
