I am doing the test at
getting a score approx 40% :-(. Guess I need to study more, but I am still trying to find some material that will prepare me for this level. The usual books are seemingly a bit basic for this. Any info on how much score on this will be good before one can consider taking the actual certification exam

Thank for taking my exam. I just would like to say that the difficulty level of my exam is much higher than the one of the real exam, so don't worry too much if you are getting low scores. What I had in mind when making up this mock exam was to actually provide a little challenge to people who wanted to delve deeper into the Java language. This kind of exam (like Bill Brogden's one) are usually to be taken once you feel comfortable with the whole matter and not while preparing for the exam otherwise the effect might be to feel disappointed which is not the goal.
I've got feedback from people who scored around 40-50% in my mock and still got certified. Happy learning
