Hi everyone, I was searching for Kathy's new book. But only found in Amazon where they cannot ship it until Jan 25th 2003. I would like to buy it as soon as possible. Any suggestions. Thanks.
all the online stores I've seen are sold out (the publishers are trying to get everyone restocked) -- however my local Barnes&Noble / Borders Books had it in stock. You'll pay full price -- but you should be able to get a copy.

Sri, Are you sure that you got the right version of the book? I just went to that site and the only book listed there by Kathy Sierra was the one that prepares you for the programmer exam only. Doesn't the new book cover both programmer and developer exams? Mansi
Okay, I found this book For the same ISBN: 0072226846 I found to these books: 1) one from Barnes & Nobles Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 Study Guide (Exam 310-032)
2) from Amazon Sun Certified Programmer & Developer for Java 2 Study Guide (Exam 310-035 & 310-027) 3) from Books a million Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 Study Guide (Exam 310-035) with CDROM Now which one to buy for SCJP 1.4 exam. Really confused with different titles. Thanks.

Sujatha, If you search by ISBN , you get the same book. I am surprised to see that it is published in dec 2002 according to booksamillion.com and jan 2003 according to b and n. It would be good if kathy can intervene and clear out confusion Sri

Dunno why B&N goofed on the title... but 0072226846 is the correct ISBN. Make SURE you don't accidently buy the 2nd edition of the book (NOT by Kathy and Bert). That's totally diferent -- you don't want that one. If you buy it from amazon -- make sure you go through a link like this one: http://www.javaranch.com/bunkhouse/Certification.jsp#0072226846 (that way Javaranch.com gets a little $$)

I am living in Toronto, and my local book store has this book. I got a copy for myself. The store has a few more copies left. So if u are anywhere near Toronto, you can call me and I can fetch the book for you from the store.

Peter Wu, I got your pm, and I am replying over here since you have your "private massage" option is disbled. There is a bookstore called "World Biggest Bookstore", which is near Eatons Center. Go there and pick up a copy as soon as possible. Last time I went there, I saw they had 2 or 3 copies.
