Hi,
I am taking my Certification exam for Java 1.4 next Monday. I took all Dan't mock test and marcus green. Do you think it's enough for me to go for exam?
Please advice me. I am very nervous.
Thanks

I am also inline to give the exam soon can you submit your marcus, dan results I heard that if you get around >80 in the mock exams you should be clear for the actual exam
Best of luck.

I think if you took those exams straight through, without pausing to check each answer, in the amount of time you're given for the real test I think you'll be fine. I would also suggest using one of the applets that are mock tests because when you take the real thing that is what it looks like.
Good luck - I was super nervous too.
I think if you've prepared you'll be fine.

Hi, I would suggest you to take the brain bench certification on java1 (free @ www.brainbench.com) before attempting Sun's Certification. Sun's certification is very tough and require you to have a indepth knowledge. You are recommended to read all the tips and resources posted by Maha Anna. http://www.javaranch.com/maha. Here you will find everything you need to do in order to pass the exam.
Good Luck!!

In first instance I want to wish you all the best for Monday's exam, I think we all have been there or we will going there very soon, aren't we. Nerve-tracking indeed, but well worth it I believe it.
The best advice I can give is practicing, practicing, ...
If you have passed the exam from Marcus Green with more as 80% then I would be confident. To practice a little more you can also have a quick look on javacertificate.com and then you see which objective you need to study a little more.

Good Luck. And let us know your scores!

Don't worry, you'll do just fine. Anybody who knows Java well just needs an effort of two days or so to sharpen the edges.
I suggest you just sink into the "Programmers Guide to Java Certification" by Mughal and Rasmussen for the rest of the days ... and don't take too many mock tests either.
