I am going through the java specification2.0
in that, i came through the Widening Reference Conversation. I didn't understand this two statements, can anybody clarify me by giving example for each statement.
5.1.4 Widening Reference Conversions
1. From any array type to type Object.
2. From any array type SC[] to any array type TC[], provided that SC and TC are reference types and there is a widening conversion from SC to TC.

Clarify me please
thanks in advance

Thanks<br />Badri
