Q. Methods of a dead thread.

I did an exam on the www.certification4career.com, but I've got some doubts about the answers given. Can someone help me with this?
Mock Exam

32. Please select invalid statement(s) for a thread
A. You can restart a dead thread
B. You can't call the methods of a dead thread
C. Both of the above
D. None of the above

Answer. C.
Shouldn't the answer be A instead of C? Because, a dead thread cannot be restarted, But, its method can be called -- it is just an object no more in a running state?
