This information is not released by Sun.
However, I did a little browsing in the Results forum in February 2002 and came up with some stats (available here).
Please be aware that the stats are most likely innacurate since they are based only on people posting on Javaranch. Moreover, most people do not usually post when they fail...
Anyway, these stats might give you some insights...
