I am preparing to take the SCJP 1.4 exam soon. All of the mock exams I've come across only contain the multiple choice questions. Can someone please comment on the short answer and drag-and-drop variety of questions? What approximate percentage of the exam, how difficult as compared to the multiple choice questions, etc. Are there any mock exams out there that contain the short answer and drag-and-drop questions? Thanks!
All the short answer / Drag and Drop questions have been removed from the 1.4 exam. I swear, I just talked to Kathy and Bert about it while we were at JavaOne and they assured me that there are only multiple choice questions on the 1.4 exam. (The SCWCD and new SCBCD exams however are another story).
I just took the SCJP 1.4 exam yesterday (6/16/03) at a certified Prometric testing center, and I definitly had two fill-in-the-blank questions on the exam. Both questions had a code "exhibit", and asked for me to fill in the result of running the segment. The strange thing is, I too remember reading that these questions were no longer supposed to be in the test. What gives? Doug

Therefore, we can draw any one or all of the following conclusions: 1.Kathy is no longer the co author of the exam 2.They have not removed this type of questions from the database completely 3.Somebody out there loves this type dearly and not willing to eliminate them at all The best thing to do,therefore, is to assume this type of question/s would be in the exam and prepare for it.

I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
