real exam vs mock exams

I've come across a lot of things on the mock exams which weren't discussed in K&B's book.
For those who have taken the exam and used K&B's book, did anything not discussed in the book show up on the exam?
If most of what I know is from K&B's book will I do ok?

Kathy was one of the co-developers of the exam, so I think you're pretty safe in assuming that there won't be anything in the exam that was left out of the book. The mock exam that's included is very close to the real thing.
From what I remember of real the exam there wasn't anything in there that wasn't covered in their book.
But... if you want to list the topics that you are worried about... we might be able to help dispell some of your specific fears.

It wasn't the mock exams that came with the book that had the surprises, it was the others I've been doing (Dan's and Marcus's mocks). But I'm sure I'm just worrying for nothing anyway.

Because Kathy worked on the real exam she was able to focus the book pretty closely. Dan and Marcus had only the Sun objectives and their memory, so they tend to cover some 'extra' topics, which are good general Java topics, but outside the scope of the actual exam.
I think Dan would agree that his tests are broader and tougher than the real thing!
Good luck!

Thanks, Bert. That makes me feel a lot better.
I'll find out Monday if you deserved that thanks and maybe a beer at that too

The only study guide I used was Kathy and Bert's book... plus every mock test I could get my hands on. I think they did a very good job of covering the objectives.
You'll do fine!
I agree. Here's the link:
