Hi there,
can one on the exam get questions or code bits where one needs to convert a number with octal or hexadecimal representation to decimal value as we use ?
if this is a case, anyone care explaining how to convert these to decimal values.?

I don't think you are required to caluclate the hex or octal values of any decimal numbers, or vice versa. I did not have any such questions on my exam.
However, if you care to know anyhow:

Hope that helps. I assume there are better explanations out there if this is confusing.
