interrupt (within threads)

I'm going through my first pass of Sierra and Bates book at the moment- within the Threads chapter there is no mention of the interrupt method.
However having gone through Dan Chisholm's Thread related questions quite a few have the interupt keyword.
Does anyone know if this keyword is used in the exam- although I suspect you can never know too much!

Hi Paul. I know someone who took the exam about two weeks ago and got a very good score but was concerned about one thread question he might have answered wrong, so he asked me what happens when a thread is interrupted. He wanted to understand interrupts in relation to other things like wait, notify and locks.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.

Do I need notify()/wait() etc. when I just mark all Data-methods synchronized?
