Is K&B book contain all material needed for the exam ?
I read Dan's and Marcus's exam and i found many 'not included' materials
like Iterators, interrupt(), isInterrupt(), operator precedence, BitSet, etc
Do I have to study them or I can just depend on K&B materials only ?
Thank you

K&B contains all the objectives that are required for the exam.
I did not depend only on K&B for the exam. I also did Dan's and Marcus' exams.

HI,
Most of the topics are covered in K&B book.
I would suggest to use JLS whenever needed.(but atleast once u shud go thru)
Also K&B book doesnt contain Daemon Threads(Authors plz take a note !!)
I got 2 questions on daemon threads..though the questions were easy.
Dans single topic exams are excellent. take them.

Just go thru the API docs and
http://www.danchisholm.net/sept27/topic/section7/threads1.html
Reading explaination(answers) given is sufficient for the exam.
Bcoz u wont get complicated programs on daemon threads only u shud
be aware of what is a daemon thread..!!

Howdy --
I answered the daemon thread question (and wrote EVERYTHING you need to know about daemon threads for the exam) in this post:
daemon threads...
I think that's about the only thing that's not covered in the book that *could* be on the exam (not everyone sees the same exam).
We were pretty careful about that -- but we were also careful not to include too many things that were *not* on the exam (just trying to save your brain bandwidth ) so there *are* some topics that we didn't explore in great depth.
cheers,
Kathy
