There's lots of resources all over this site.
Here are some places to start:
* Our handy dandy FAQ has some great questions to get you started like What is the best way to prepare for the SCJP exam? and What are the mock exams available?
* Our Bunkhouse that has lots and lots of book recomendations
* Our snazzy search utility that you can use to help yourself and find answers to your questions.
So enjoy! Good Luck! And Welcome to the JavaRanch.

Also, read the book of Khalid Mughal that they're giving away for this forum. I read the first edition twice, and was able to passed the exam.
Good luck!

Hi varun bihani ,
Did u have a look on the K&B Book? I just would like to know the difference between those two books, which are very famous among SCJP aspirants... I have a seperate thread to discuss, if u want to...
Thanks,

I haven't read this book, but have u tried Kathy's? I simply loved it! It doesnt give u a bit of tension or exam fear or seriousness when u read it, and makes u feel wonderful and confident at the end... From what ive heard from the discussions here, im under the impression that Mughals book is a bit harder to follow, though the content is excellent...
