I'm just wondering if Dan's mock exam questions are representative for the actual SCJP exam, because when I compare these questions with the ones from the book of Kathy&Bert it seems that they are much harder and go more in detail... Anybody has their opinion on this ? Tnx, Kristof
Based on a number of postings on this site related to Dan's exams, they are generally more tougher than the real one. But if you do good on Dan's exams, you've got a pretty good chance of doing better on the real Sun's exams.
Dan's mock exams are great. I don't think they are disproportionately difficult, but I tended to take them chapter by chapter, rather than as a mock exam. Some chapters I didn't even read any books - just did the questions and then reviewed the ones I got wrong.
