FIRST ARE FAST EXERCISES AND THE SECOND ARE PRATICAL WITH LOTS OF JAVA CODES TO ANALYSE AND MULTIPLE CHOOSE
I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, are you referring to the "Two-Minute Drill" and the "Self-Test" sections of the book?
The "Two-Minute Drill" are just key points for you to remember and if you tried answering true or false to them, they are all true
The "Self-Test" are exercises to gauge your understanding of the topics explained in each chapter.
Hope this answers your question. I tried looking up "Fast Exercises" and couldnt find any. There is, however, "Exercises" presented in each chapter also designed to cover exam topics wherein you are asked to try write code based on a requirement and at the end of each chapter (after the answers to the Self-Test) the source code is presented.
