hi everyone...this is my 1st time here, and its amazin but i am a bit lost...i jus graduated from EEE here in singapore...and i havent found a job yet...yeap..i am taking ccna right now.and i am interested in gettin somehtin in java as well....
i know these are basic qns but realli like to know what SCJP stands for?
i looked up sun mirco's website and they have the programmer's cert n the developer's cert...which one should i pursue?

Dear Sarasvathi,
SCJP Sun Certified Java Programmer exam. You have to get SCJP (Exam CX-310-035 for SDK1.4 (that's the current Java release, until Tiger (SDK1.5) comes around, before you are allowed to attempt the SCJD Sun Certified Java Developer cert(assignment (write a Java progam) and essay based exam).
