Vijay,
welcome to the ranch.
I guess, most people have their own way of remembering, but i bet most people couldn't tell you the order of precedence without looking it up first.
so I would say, make up some sort of story or poem to help you rememebr, but to be honest, in the exam, there is not much about the precedence, more like this precedence:
i = ++i; //the pre incrementer is higher in the precendence than the assigment so i would be assigned the new incrementede value.
i = i++; //is the same as above but, i does not get incremented until after that statement has executed so this is like saying i = i;
(cast)s.method() //the dot notation would be done first then the cast, but only if possible.
thats mainly about the extent i would say,
but no doubt lots more people will give you more advice
good luck
Davy
How simple does it have to be???
