It's definitely possible to pass the exam without using a Java Certification book. Most people (including myself) find it a lot easier to pass if you use one.
If you're looking for certification books online, Safari Books Online has a TON of books online, some of them on java certification. They also offer a 30-day free trial. books 24x7 also has a lot of books online. Not sure what the pricing structure is, but definitely check it out.
Hopefully when you asked "is there any sites posts the contents of such java certification study guide books?" you were asking about sites like these where you can view books on a subscription basis. Other sites that violate the copyright of books and post the content without the permission of the author and publisher are very very very bad. But of course, you knew that and wouldn't willingly violate a copyright..... right?
Some other resources may find useful can be found in the our FAQ. One of the best resources of course is this very forum. There's TONS of information in our archive -- check out our handy dandy search utility. Most any question you have can be found there.
Good luck!

I have received emails from people who have passed the exam entirely by using the freelyh available resources from my site, though I rather recommend buying at least one book and looking at some other sites as well (Dans in particular).
