can anyone assist me with the raised conditions in threads.

Can you be a little more specific? Are you talking about the ability to change the thread priorities or are you referring to the various Error or Exception classes that can be thrown?

I think you are asking about the raised conditions on which errors and exceptions are thrown.

I think you better go through the SCJP tipline by Corey and see the Threads section.
