study group

Iam planning to take Sun Certification in next two months, so i want to start a study group. Anyone interested ?.

Hello everyone i am from the philippines. I am planning to take the exam this coming august. I want also to join the study group.

In my opinion for a study group to be effective you must have a 50-50 gender mix. It helps the group meetings.

Hope noone minds my suggestion.

I personally would not join any groups due to various reasons. But I think my suggestion is valid.

Ya. My guess is they want to start different study groups one for different regions. And by the way even in India they will need multiple study groups based on the actual location.

In my opinion a study group would serve as a good means of bringing together like minded people who are doing the same things career wise so that they can exchange notes, make friends. I would sugegst that if this ever actually works out you people meet at some good coffee(Java) shop. I actually like the idea of this study group concept succeeding. I hope it hapens. I regeret I would not be part of it because my time is so full and someone would kill me if I chose to spend my free time in a studygroup.

If it works out it might be a lot of fun. I do hope it succeeds. Why dont you guys open a yahoo group. Or maybe you can all start using the "send a private message" facility of SCJP itself to begin with.

The idea is good, but to use a coffeeshop would not be the best choice, especially in Amsterdam where such is something different from what the name suggests
