SCJP coupon purchased in India, can I take exam in registered centers outside India

Hi,

This is Vetri. I am having plans to take SCJP 1.4, as a first step of registration process, have purchased the coupon from Bangalore, India. This is valid till the month of October.

As part of my job, I have to go to US for another 6 months, but I am not sure can I take the exam there using the same coupon that was purchased in India.

I would appreciate if this is possible or atleast some info regarding where to enquire regarding this. Thanks a lot.

Bro, I don't think you can do that. If I remember right, it is valid only for the country where you have purchased it. U can do one thing to check it out. Go to www.prometric.com and I think the link is "test takers" or something like that. Go there and register and try scheduling the test in one of the US test centers. But probably you won't be able to. If you are successful in scheduling the test date you can always cancel the date or reschedule it. Hope this helps..All the best. But bro, finish it off while you are in India...You definitely wouldn't want to spend all your spare time in US preparing for the test while you can spend it "explore"ing the US

I get that the coupon purchased can be used only in the authorized centers within the country. I am already in US, I should have taken the test but couldn't. Hope this info will be helpful to others like me.
