I tried the exam from CD that comes with the book by Khalid Mughal. I scored 69%.. How do I campare this test to the actual SCJP exam.. I am thinking of taking the final exam next weekend. So any suggestions regardaing last week studies??
Hey, Even i am plannin to give scjp next weekend. If u have any mock tests remaining, keep them for the last 2 or 3 days. I have kept 'Khalid Mughal' one. If u have any keep em, so that u don't break the tempo. Best of Luck.
I have kept the K&B book test for next week..also I have just finished exams from Dan Chisholm's Study guide 1..yet to go to the next guide and so on..I am looking for some judgement..about my score.! Can anyone tell me how do I compare the score on Khalid Mughals exam to the actual score.. Sorry I am a little tensed..
Which edition of the Mughal book are you using? The mock exam in the first edition was much harder than the real thing and also included areas (I/O and Swing) that aren't on the 1.4 exam. A second edition has recently been published but I am not familiar with its contents.
If u r using Khalid Mughal's Second Edition, then let me tell u, the real exam is easier than the mock exam. I had scored 6 % more marks in real exam than Mughal's mock exam, although I had given the mock exam one day earlier to my real exam.
You have a lot of time to brush up.
A bit of advice........prepare well the topic on Threading......
yes...u get quite a few questions on threads...infact i got 8 questions(6 of which r programs)...i got 5 questions from collections framework too...but they were very easy...
