Hello Frs
Iam taking SCJP1.4 on 17/9/2004.
I want to know whether there are too many qns in Assertions for the exam.I need some tutorial help on it.I came to know that they are asking qns on Hash Key placement and Collections.Kathy Sierra Text doesn't deal with this topic practically with Examples.
I need help from recent SCJP 1.4 test takers reagrding the exam qns.
BYE!!!

Edited to make title more specific - Barry

hi Viji,
I cleared my SCJP1.4 last Monday.
there were 4 Qs on assertions.
In Points.
1) they are not too typical.
2) need to know valid and invalid syntax for assertion statement.
3) how to enable/disable assertion during compile & run time... for different levels[for class, package, class within a package]
4) asserton is very simple... go thru the material(wud recommend Khalid).. do 2 progs on the same... test ur self...and ur done..belive me u can do it!
5) As for collection plz dont missout equal() & hashCode() implementation[its in smwhr last section in Khalid].... not in details..jus get a idea.

Best of luck!!
