Registration for SCJP 1.4 in India

Hi ranchers,

I want to clear SCJP1.4 within 15/10/2004.So I mailed to Chetna.N@Sun.COM for getting the details.They told me to follow the instructions:

Kindly take note the cost of the test coupon is RS. 7500/-. Pls send the
DD In favor of Sun Microsystems India Pvt. ltd. Payable at Bangalore to
the address metioned below, with a covering letter mentioning your Name,
Address, Telephone No. and the e-mail Id. Once we receive the same, we
reqire two working days to courier you the test coupon.

After you receive the test coupon, contact any Authorized Prometric
Testing Center ( Pls visit www.2test.com ) for the list of Test Centre
India ) to schedule your exam date, time, and location; all exams take
place at Authorized Prometric Testing Centers.

Is that the right way of registartion for SCJP 1.4 in India? Please authenticate the above information.

nothing wrong with that as mentioned... the only thng am not sure how long wud it take. I wud suggest you to find if there is any authoorized test center in ur city... get the info...go meet them and i feel ur doubts will be resolved.

hi anil,
there is no problem in booking and taking up the test. u can go to any prometric test centre and tell them that u want to book for the exam exam. they will create id for u and they will look after all the formalities. u can even go an hour before book the exam and take it up immediately. The amount is 7500. i too did in the same way. u better contact the nearest NIIT some thing like that.
