Took and passed my SCJP certification about 2 weeks ago and was wondering how long it is until you receive a certificate (and other bits and pieces you get for passing). Was there something I was supposed to do after I passed or should I just wait?

I guess it needs up to a month/6 weeks for processing. If you want to use the special SCJP logo to which you are entitled, you will have to fill in a form and get it sent back to Sun. Then you can download the logo image. You should check that the form is included with your certificate and ID card.

Hi Tom,

You can track your certification kit by logging into the Integral7 database.

You might want to take a look at the Sun Certification FAQ.

If you've any questions regarding the certification kit, you can also send an email to for clarification.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
