Basic data types in JAVA(e.g. int,long) does NOT exibit polymorphic bahaviour. True or False and why ?

By basic data types you mean primitive data types. No, they do not exhibit polymorphic behaviour because they are not represented as objects.

[Unlike Smalltalk, for instance, where integers and floats (and everything else) are objects].
