beta - not tough if .....

Well , I am reading 3 rd chapter of K&B book for clearing my concepts . After some day ( probably from 13 january )I will shift my study specific to 1.5 only for that I just have one book The Complete Reference by HS for Java 5. even at this time , i am not seeing the objective of beta ...

I have not registered my self for exam yet ... but the preparation is on ...

I think the only available book in India ( Pune ) for J2SE 1.5 is " The Complete Reference J2SE 5 Edition by Herbert Schildt " . So I got that book . Now I just wanted to know that it is good & enough for beta .

And Animesh , If you have done the preparation of 1.4 , then I think it is enough time to prepare for 1.5 ( atleast overview of 1.5 ) . So you can go for it . My problem is , I am still reading K&B for 1.4 . But then also I am giving beta .

Well, i am still to go with some important chapters for preparation of SCJP 1.4,
The only thing which can drive me for Beta exam is the cost factor but i think more than the money factor what important is the knowledge, getting certified is not my only aim, to gain more knowledge through it is important.
I think i may not devote myself properly for this Beta exam in this short period, so better i will chuck it for time being, lets give the 1.4 exam well.
Thats what i think.

If you know 1.4 well, it is not difficult for you to pick up 1.5.

So, if u feel u r ready with 1.4 u can head for 1.5 Beta,
