hi everyone i am preparing for scjp 1.4 i`m almost done with preparation ,i read from the robert & heller book and took up a lot of mock xam`s i`m able to get 85% on an average. now do i have to read the JLS, cos i`m finding it quite difficult to read
It's very good if you can read Kathey's book because it gives you lots of Tips andTrick which other books don't give you. My advice is if you can find it READ IT. Specially Arrays, Garbage Collection, Threads, Inner classes
And read the spec also if you can. It gives u some valuable info.
I totally agree. Read K&B if you can find it. The book gives you valuable tips and prepares you well for the exam. IMO JLS should be used more like a reference document. Moreover, reading K&B would be more enjoyable then JLS .
Hope this helps and good luck! [ January 17, 2005: Message edited by: Harsh Singh ]
