Well, I don't think I got any jobs based on having a Brainbench certificate. But I like having a nice list of Certificate on my resume.

The bummer part about BrainBench is that you have to pay now for the exams, when I took them they were free.

I would agree with Mark on this.It didn't help me either having a Brainbench certificate, except adding a certificate to my resume. Even I took the exams when it was free, but you need to pay now.

All the best !

Exams are free for the first XX takers, then they cost.

At my previous employer, a worldwide data processing company, the Brainbench certs were used to screen potential applicants. They would accept the Brainbench cert or, if you didn't have one, they would have you take the Brainbench test to see if you knew your stuff enough to pass. (I have about a dozen BB certs, but I probably won't renew them...)

You can give the exam & download the logo & use .... but in my opinion don't send money for cirtification .

Hi All....
Regarding the BB Certifcate I would look at it from a different prspective ..
If you are a rookie and you do a BB cert in your field of intrest then it might go some way to show ur enthusiasm.....It wont take you all the way in any case buy it might just you some of the way ....

If you are an experience hand then I dont think that a BB cert matters much ....

Maybe if you are wanting to change careers it might provide idea of what to learn..

Have A nice day !
