How to step by step debug a Java source ??

It would be very easy if you use an IDE (Integrated Development Environment) that has this feature, like Eclipse.

I dont have any IDE.
Is there a way I can debug from the DOS prompt ?

no, because you can't run Java programs from DOS.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
