your opinion about Cattle Drive

Hi,
I am a brand new member of this community, so please bear with me. I was looking at the Cattle Drive section of Javaranch. I wanted you have some opinions as for: Has anyone preparing for SCJP used it? how is it? how useful? Would you recommend it to me. Is it still active?

The Cattle Drive and Programmer Certification (SCJP) forum are great tools for preparing for SCJP. However, you also need a good book. I would highly recommend Kathy Sierra and Bates Sun Certified Programmer & Developer for Java 2 book. That book, the cattle drive, mock exams, and this forum are sufficient tools for SCJP exam. You can find links to free mock exams in this forum.

Thank you very much for your guidance. I have already started with Kathy and Bates book. Its surely a great book. But I wanted to gain some confidence with java coding so I looked at cattle ride....But it seems its not free and costs 200$. That is something I need to think about. I am sure its more than worth the price though.
