It has been a while since I took the SCJP 1.2 test. I think the time has come for an upgrade. Has anyone taken the SCJP 1.4 Upgrade recently? Do you have any suggestions/comments/insights?

I have registered to take the test (XC-310-036) in two weeks. Its time to round up the cows!

TIA!
Sumit

Why upgrade? Does your job require it? If not, maybe consider going for the next level, rather than recertifying at the SCJP level. Just a thought...

In case you want to upgrade your certificate, why dont you consider the upgrade test for Tiger, instead of SCJP 1.4?

Jeff/Nicholas,

Great advice! Unfortunately, I have already purchased the voucher and registered for the test. Might as well go through with it now. Besides, last few years I have been working on fewer java related projects. I thought it might be a good way to brush-up on Java.

Cheers!~
