JApplet can't start

I can see "Applet Loaded" in the status bar of the browser (both IE and NS) and hangs there without throwing any error in Java Console. Any idea why? I have my policy installed properly. By the way I am using TomCat 1.3 server.

The title of your post says "JApplet" which is the Swing version. Most browsers don't have Swing installed. You might want to either try the AWT applet class, or include Swing in your jar files. (which is a very hefty download)
