I can see "Applet Loaded" in the status bar of the browser (both IE and NS) and hangs there without throwing any error in Java Console. Any idea why? I have my policy installed properly. By the way I am using TomCat 1.3 server.

The title of your post says "JApplet" which is the Swing version. Most browsers don't have Swing installed. You might want to either try the AWT applet class, or include Swing in your jar files. (which is a very hefty download)

Thanks David for your reply. But the problem is - I have JRE 1.3 installed on my Client PC and other JApplets are running on the browser.
Thanks.

It could just be the code in the applet... could you post this?

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
