what is the pass mark for the scjp 1.4 exam? in the k&B mock exams, they show i need 80 to pass. but i thought 70 was the pass mark. again how many questions do i expect? as far as i know, it's 61. am i right??

There will be 61 questions and you need to answer atleast 32 correctly. That means 52% is the pass percentage.

wow...that's great...from the very beginning i somehow(i don't exactly remember how, may be i read it somewhere or it was the requirement of 1.2) thought that the passing mark is 70!!!
52 passing mark is great...!!! i feel like going for the exam tomorrow!!!
anyway i know i sound stupid, r u really sure...because that is too good to be true

Yes 52% is the passing mark for SCJP.But just refer to SCJP results section to know the number ppl who have got 90+.YOu should aim for 100% not passing.

but U should remember one thing just pass(52%) is waste. So try to take above 80%

Why is just passing a waste? A pass is a pass! (Slightly bitter on only just passing a different certification

But yes, it would be nice to get a high score
