I am bit confused looking at all those at which some says that
Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition 1.4 (CX-310-035)
is latest and involved with exclusion of awt and i/o. And Some says that
Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition 5.0 (CX-310-055) - New!
is the latest version which is excluded with again the same i/o and awt.

Tell me which one is the latest that is exactly involved with exclusion of awt and i/o? what is the diff between 1.4 and 5.0? if i have not yet taken any java certifications earlier, which one i am eligible to take? What 1.2 has that 1.4 doesnt and what 1.4 has that 5.0 doesnt? which of these[ 5.0 (CX-310-055) , 1.4 (CX-310-035) ] is involved with assertions?
