Could somebody explain to me what is the difference between
Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 Platform Upgrade Exam (CX-310-036) and
Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 Platform 1.4 (CX-310-035).I passed the
Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 Platform Upgrade Exam (CX-310-036) version and I wonder will it be counted as prerequisite in order to take Sun Certified Web Component Developer for the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition 1.4 (CX-310-081)? Thanks in advance.

Yes you can go for SCWCD.

Upgrade exam is just an upgrade to previous version. I hope that you have taken SCJP 1.3 then upgraded to SCJP 1.4.

Note: You had better to split this question into two questions and post it in SCJP forum, and SCWCD forum, respectively.

It does not matter which SCJP certification you have. You can move on to any of the exams which have SCJP as a requisite.
