I would like to attempt the SCJP 1.5 exam. Please add me to your group. SCJP 1.5 book by Khalid is not yet come in to the market. So shall I follow the SCJP 1.4 book by Khalid for SCJP 1.5 preparation.

Thanks
Madhu.

To sound like bad blatant advertising for something that isn't my product, but good friends product.

The K&B book to me is the best exam preparation book out there for the 1.4 exam. Now their new version will be the best for the 5.0 exam.

Yes the 1.4 book you are talking about is a good source for the 5.0 exam but as you know won't cover everything. I highly recommend doing a reading of the new Java Langauage Specification that you can get form java.sun.com.

Also code and test everything.

Good Luck

Mark

Thanks for the information Mark. Is that K&B new version book is available in the market? Do you have any idea?

Not yet, still in the tech review stage. It is expected 4th quarter 2005. Probably November the latest. But it is looking brilliant.
