I am a newbie to this forum.I am planning to take scjp exam.I haven't written any scjp exams before.So should I take SCJP 1.4 or SCJP5.0 . I just got a job and i am looking to write an exam that would make my career shape well.
Please give me advices on which exam I should choose and why?
Hi charan sri , I think if you have time to practice and you can really work hard. you should go for the latest certification which would be helpful for your future.

I have time and will take SCJP 5.0 .I hope this forum helps me in preparing for the exam.

SCJP Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 Platform 5 Study Guide (Exam 310-055), scheduled for release on Sept. 30 2005. The prior edition of the same title is for 310-035, and is probably not up to date.
