This week's book giveaway is in the OCMJEA forum. We're giving away four copies of OCM Java EE 6 Enterprise Architect Exam Guide and have Paul Allen & Joseph Bambara on-line! See this thread for details.
And... The questions (ignoring the fact that there is no the the number of rigth answers) are like the real exam, or in general a little more difficult? There are any easy questions in the exam? Because I only scored 5 of 11 and I have thougth to go for the exam in a week I think that with the correct answers I will scored one more 6 but...
I have some doubts too, but I put the doubts in different posts, because I think that's better than in one post.
Do not dispair (unless you are really short of time - in which case consider moving your examination back a few weeks). These questions give a good idea of where you must put your learning efforts and into what detail you you must go. This stuff is new to even perhaps 95% of experienced Java programmers (myself included).
Yes, it's a good idea to keep each question in its own topic.
That set of sample questions focused primarily on topics that are new to the exam as of Java 5. I would guess that the new exam is maybe 30% content that wasn't on the 1.4 exam. So if you feel your knowledge of the 1.4 topics is really good, you might squeak by and pass if your knowledge of the new topics is only so-so.
Spot false dilemmas now, ask me how!
