There are alot of really positive people that come here, I really enjoy this site and it makes me so excited to see so many people loving what they do and helping others.

Anyway, I am pretty decent at java with little experience. I just received my K&B book so I am ready to give the SCJP 1.4 a go. I must say, I am a little nervous though. I took a Java class in college and got a good grade so I do know some java but I was wondering how long should it possiblly take someone like me to attempt to pass? I plan on reading one hour of K&B a night, after I finish the book , I plan on doing the dan chisolm and ,marcus green mocks..

Is thanksgiving too soon? am I having delusions of grandure? I really want this badly, but to be honest I also have a full time job and go to school...

what would you guys do?

thanks for reading this.

If you are ready to sacrifice your weekends then you should be able to make it ... And you may have to spend atleast 2 hrs a day on week days.

I will do it. That is what I needed to hear. I will read K&B and read questions/puzzles here 2 hrs a night.

I appreciate the response.
