can anyone tell me what are the additional topics in scjp 5 when compared to scjp 1.4. I heard that scjp 5 is tougher than scjp 1.4 .i am planning to take scjp 1.4 because all the new topics of 5 are not availabe under one roof. Can anyone tell me where to get them at one place?

This Sun website link has the details for both the 310-055 exam (tiger 5.0) and for the 310-035 exam (1.4). Detailed objectives are listed for both exams. In general the tiger exam is MUCH broader than the 1.4 exam. The only things removed from the tiger exam are bit shifting and the Math class, and lots and lots of new stuff has been added...
But think of the wonderful satisfaction when you pass the tiger exam
