Hi all,
I am new to java ranch and got really annoyed when most of you wrote that we should follow k&b as i read only khalid mughal. Is khalid mughal sufficient to get 90+ or should i go through k&b also?

Thanks

Hi Yashwanth,
since 1 month im preparing for SCJP1.4. I preapred from Khalid's book. I felt Khalid's book covers all the topics in depth. But for SCJP preparation in exam point of view is very importent.
2 days back only i bought K&B book. Now i am using K & B too. K&B book covers all the topics in exam point of view. Two minute drill at the end of the chapter covers alllllllllllllllllll the importent points in the chapter.
Even you can find do's and don'ts while reading a chapter.
My opinioin is Khalid's book and K&B both are required to get a good percentage in SCJP.
K&B Title : All in one java 2 sun certified programmer & developer for Java2 ( Exams 310 -035 & 310 - 027)
Authors: ( Kathy Sierra, Bert Bates)
MRP : Rs. 429 I bought it for ( Rs. 300, 30% discount).

Wish you all the Best
Regards
Naresh

Hi Yashwanth,
Unfortunately K&B book (Indian print) is having many printing mistakes.
Once you check this thread and download the errata.
