Objective 1.4 of SCJP5.0 is:
Develop code that declares both static and non-static methods, and - if appropriate - use method names that adhere to the <b>JavaBeans</b> naming standards. Also develop code that declares and uses a variable-length argument list.

Will we be expected to know about JavaBeans also for the SCJP5.0 exam?

I am asking this question because the above objective has mentioned about JavaBeand naming standards.

It probably means knowing how to use getter/setter methods of JavaBeans.

Yes you need to knwo the basics of what a JavaBean is. In this case, mostly just private instance variables and getters and setters.
